Yes We Did It — Talkado Protocol Crushed 70 Quadrillion TALK
Talkado, a green intuitive and frictionless high-yield aggregation protocol, which currently runs on the Binance Smart Chain network is set to implement a core operation embedded in its white paper.
The event, which has been scheduled to take place on the 25th of September, 2021 saw the crushing of 19 quadrillion TALK Coins. This is a follow-up to the burning of 1 quadrillion of TALK Coin that took place on the 6th of September, 2021 (1Quadrilion Talkado Coin Crushed — 06 September 2021 | by Talkado Protocol | Sep, 2021 | Medium).
As a way of reminder, it would interest the community members to know that Talkado’s very first coin crushing took place on the 23rd of June, 2021. A total of 50% of the total supply of TALK Coins representing 50 quadrillion of TALK Coin, was sent to the crushing machine (50% Of Total Talkado Token Crushed | by Talkado Protocol | Medium)
This 3rd segment of coin crushing is in line with the standard approach and policy deployed by most cryptocurrency projects. The aim is to integrate the benefits of coin burning mechanism which ranges from being not only environmentally friendly but also holds a long-term value for our esteemed community members.
The crushing of 19 quadrillion of TALK Coin is a huge step in actualizing the Talkado blueprint which represents a viable instrument that would help to preserve wealth for all TALK Coin holders and the Talkado community at large. The burning of such a significant quantity of TALK Coin (19 quadrillion) would effectively increase the scarcity of the TALK Coin and help curtail inflation and maximize the generated added value for all Talkado participants.
It would be recalled that Talkado’s original Coin supply was 100 quadrillion. Thus, this latest and final burning of 19 quadrillion of TALK Coin will further reduce the TALK Coin quantity to 30 Quadrillion of TALK Coin, which represents 70% of the total TALK Coin supplied.
